Dr. Chandrashekhar Chawan has created $15,000 gold-plated diamond encrusted contacts that apparently safe to wear and come in white or yellow gold, with or without diamonds. His philosophy according to Today.com is that, "We always talk eye to eye. If your eyes are sparkling with diamonds, no one ann look away; their eyes will be glued to you and your personality." 


Whether or not you agree with his thinking, i'm sure you can get support his donating all the proceeds from the sale of these contacts to the treatment of Steven Johnson Syndrome which can cause blindness.
